Class Location
Classes are held at 9 Friend Street in Everton Park Queensland 4053.
Both street and off-street parking is available.
Group Classes
Group classes are the main delivery mode of tuition. Group classes follow a set curriculum and learning outcome. The classes are also designed to provide a learning pathway for students where each subsequent class builds on knowledge acquired in previous classes. Class text books are provided to each student for use during class time. Class text books are also available to purchase for future reference.
Group classes have a maximum allocation of 6 students. This enables each student to receive personal attention from the Instructor.
Group classes run for 2 hours per week.

Group Class Times
Monday to Thursday: 7:00pm to 9:00pm
Saturday: 8:00am to 10:00am , 10:30am to 12:30pm , 1:00pm to 3:00pm
Private Tuition
If you prefer private, one on one tuition, classes can be tailored to suit your individual needs. Private Tuition is available at the rate of $45 per hour for either 1, 2 or 3 hour timeslots. Private tuition is only available Monday to Friday between 10:00am and 2:30pm.

Tuition Fees
The class fees listed on the Sewing Classes page are for tuition only. All materials required to complete the classes are to be purchased and paid for seperately.
Machine Hire
Sewing Intuition provides hire of sewing machines and overlockers. If you do not own a machine, consider hiring one at the rate of $6 per lesson. Machine hire must be booked and paid for in advance.
Procedure for Enrolling in a Class
1. Read though the classes offered in the Sewing Classes page and choose a class. (Contact Sewing Intuition if you require assistance choosing a suitable class).
2. Scroll through the classes scheduled on the Class Timetable page and choose a day and time. (Contact Sewing Intuition if there isn't a day or time which suits you).
3. Register your contact details and preferred class on the Registration page. (Please contact Sewing Intuition to enrol in a class not yet scheduled on the Class Timetable page).
4. A Sewing Class Booking will be sent to your nominated email address. This email will contain information in relation to your booking, such as class dates, time, payment details, payment methods, what to bring to first class etc.
Confirmation of Class Placement
Receipt of deposit by the deposit due date will confirm your placement in a class. Upon receipt of the deposit monies, a Booking Confirmation will be sent to you via email. Due to high demand for participation in classes, if the deposit is not received by the deposit due date, your booking will be cancelled and your placement will be offered to another student.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation of a booking incurs an administration fee (equivalent to the total deposit amount) to cover:
1. Cost of administrative work involved in booking students,
2. Cost of administrative work involved in moving booking dates (particularly in the case of multiple changes),
3. Cost of income lost due to holding a booking for a student, who subsequently cancels, and
4. Cost of administrative work involved in processing a refund.
The following three options are available to avoid an administration fee:
1. Credit towards another class,
2. Purchase of sewing products from the Sewing Intuition Shop to the value of the non-refundable deposit amount paid, or
3. Transfer of your non-refundable deposit to a third party in the form of a Sewing Intuition Gift Voucher.
Sewing Intuition Shop
Sewing Intuition sells all materials required to complete the classes offered. This includes sewing tools (Birch and Sullivans), haberdashery (Birch), calico, bobbins (standard), sewing machine needles, and basic stationery items required for pattern adjusting and drafting.
For your convenience, all class materials can be pre-ordered and provided to you at your first class.
Starter Packs are available at a discounted price to equip new sewers with a sewing kit that contains all the essential basic sewing tools.

Gift Vouchers
Sewing Intuition Gift Vouchers are a great gift idea for a friend, neighbour, sister, daughter, girlfriend, or anyone who would love to join a sewing class.
Gift Vouchers can be issued for either pre-determined value or for a specific class. Sewing Intuition Gift Vouchers do not expire, ever!

General Information
The classroom is air conditioned for your comfort.
Tea, coffee, chilled water and mints are provided at no charge. A small range of cold beverages and snacks are available for purchase.
There is provision for cold storage of food and beverages for the 1 day workshops. There are also shops located close by for purchase of food and beverages during lunch break.
Toilet facilities are located adjacent to the classroom.
Smoking is strictly not permitted on the premises.
